The welfare of our animals comes first. No amount of profit will make us choose a course of action not in the best interest of our special little cows. We do the right thing in every step from breeding to raising our cows.

We hold ourselves responsible for caring for our cattle and selling them to homes/farms properly equipped and ready to care for a miniature cow. We strive to educate our buyers, so they feel confident in caring for their cows.

About Mx2 Ranch
We pride ourselves in breeding and raising quality miniature cows, including Highlands, HighDex, and HighPark cows. Our special little cows are happy and healthy animals bred and raised to be easily handled, gentle, and people-friendly. We lovingly call them “cow puppies.”
The Mx2 Ranch is a 30-acre ranch in southwest Missouri owned and operated by Russell Metcalf and Becky McCollum. They are hands-on in all operations, having found their passion in breeding and raising their special little cows.
They love sharing that passion with their buyers, who often stay in touch and share photos of their cows growing up with their new families. Russell and Becky are experts in their field, and one of the most frequent compliments from buyers is their willingness to guide and share their expertise well after the purchase.
Our Credentials
Our ranch is a member of the Heartland Highland Cattle Association. We breed and sell both registered HHCA and unregistered Highland cattle, HighPark, and HighDex livestock.
